Arriving in San Francisco at 18, I studied Photography at the San Francisco Art Institute, and also The Academy of Art. After having a few shows and a bit of work in national publications I found my niche in multi-media slide graphic production and design. I created my own company "Shutter Speed", where I was involved with projects for major corporations as well as ad agencies and artists. It was then I found that I had a desire to try painting for more artist expression. After the slide graphic industry became obsolete I transitioned into opening an art gallery "Officina Artificis Rex" eventually deciding to concentrate full time on painting. Initially selling out of my studio and through commission I'm now showing locally in galleries and through my agent.
